THE PATH is not linear – this is the great illusion and the great mystery of what seems to be and what ends up ‘being’ the end result of living a life – the hell that Stephen alludes to is simply the struggle to arrive in ‘being’ opposed to living in non-awareness opposed to awakedness – you already are what you will become – it’s in you now and forever – it is the ability to ‘see’ and to accept the meaning of who you are that constitutes the lack or level of hell and or suffering.
This quote comes from Stephen King’s novel : The Stand. The lines above are about a junkie who one day is found without a needle in his arm, which is described as ‘coming out the other side’ by another protagonist of the story.
